Through a Community Familiar Oracle Commission, your companion will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind Familiar created by The Whisker Witch.

Each Familiar begins as an original hand-painted artwork created freehand, inspired by the details you share. Your companion's personality, habits, favorite things, and the qualities that make them special help guide their magickal identity, oracle meaning, and place within The Whisker Witch's Familiar Archive.

Your companion will receive an official CF (Community Familiar) number and begin their journey within the growing Familiar Archive.

✨ How It Works

1. Share Your Familiar's Story — Complete the Familiar Discovery Scroll and share your companion's personality, memories, favorite things, and the magick you see in them.
2. Their Familiar Identity Is Discovered — Using your answers as inspiration, The Whisker Witch creates their unique Familiar concept, including magickal title, element or realm connection, oracle meaning, visual theme, and symbolism.
3. The Original Artwork Is Created — Your companion is transformed into a hand-painted Familiar artwork created freehand by The Whisker Witch.
4. Their Familiar Joins The Archive — Your companion receives their CF number and becomes part of The Whisker Witch's Familiar Archive.

🔮 Familiar Archive & Card Releases

Each Community Familiar receives an official CF (Community Familiar) number and becomes part of The Whisker Witch's growing Familiar Archive.

Community Familiar cards are collectible pieces created from the original Familiar artwork. When released, your companion's Familiar may become available as a collectible card for other Familiar Keepers and collectors to discover.

The timing, format, availability, and creative direction of Familiar card releases are determined by The Whisker Witch. Some Familiars may be released as part of future collections, special editions, or Archive additions as the Familiar world continues to grow.

🐾 Community Familiar Circle

The Whisker Witch's Community Familiar Circle on Facebook is a cozy gathering place for companions, Keepers and collectors who have joined the Familiar Archive.

Members can share Familiar reveals, celebrate new arrivals, connect with other pet lovers and Keepers, share stories and photos, discuss collections and trade or exchange cards with other collectors.

Private trades or exchanges between members are made at your own discretion and risk. The Whisker Witch does not oversee, guarantee, or take responsibility for member-to-member transactions, shipping, item condition, payments, or individual member behavior.

🍂 Familiar Guidelines

To create your companion's Familiar Oracle, please provide clear reference photos, permission to use your companion's likeness as artistic inspiration, personality details and any other special qualities you'd like represented.

Your information guides the creation process, but the final Familiar design, magickal theme, title, oracle interpretation, symbolism, and artistic choices remain part of The Whisker Witch's creative process. Each Familiar is a unique artistic interpretation — not simply a direct portrait recreation.

📸 Reference Photos

Please provide 3–10 clear photos of your companion, ideally including a clear face photo, a full-body photo showing markings and coloring, a favorite pose or photo showing personality, and a close-up of their eyes.

Older photos are always welcome. Please provide the clearest images available, especially of their face, eyes and any special markings or unique features, so their familiar spirit can be honored with care and love.

If your companion has crossed over The Rainbow Bridge, please know I am sending you love, light and comfort. May their memories continue to bring warmth, and may the special magick they brought into your life remain forever cherished. It is an honor to help celebrate the love, memories and special bond you shared.

The Whisker Witch creates animal artwork only. Human figures or portraits are not included.

Not every detail will appear literally in the artwork or card. Your answers inspire the overall feeling, symbolism, story, and magickal identity of your Familiar.

Each Community Familiar is created as a unique treasure within The Familiar Archive. The final painting size, solid wood surface, beveled details, hanger, and Oracle card presentation are thoughtfully chosen by The Whisker Witch to best complement each Familiar’s story and design.

Every Familiar receives the same care, creativity, and attention as they join the Archive. There is no favoritism — each companion’s unique spirit guides the creation process.

Community Familiar Oracle cards are collectible pieces that may be collected, traded, gifted, or used for personal Oracle pulls and readings.

Each Familiar is created completely by hand, from the freehand original artwork to the cutting, beveling, and finishing of the wood. Because no two handmade creations are exactly alike, small variations may naturally occur in the wood, painted details, and finishing touches.

These unique details are part of what make each Familiar a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake and treasured piece within The Familiar Archive.

💜 Artwork Rights

The physical original artwork belongs to the commissioner. All artwork created by The Whisker Witch remains the intellectual property and copyrighted work of The Whisker Witch.

Purchasing a commission does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, distribution rights, licensing rights, or commercial use rights. The artwork may not be copied, scanned, reproduced, altered, distributed, resold as a reproduction, used for AI training, minted as NFTs, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission and a separate agreement.

🕯️ Commission Policies & Creative Process

Reserving Your Familiar Commission: Payment in full is required to reserve your place in the commission queue. Once your spot is reserved, it is held exclusively for your Familiar creation, and commissioned sales are final.

Time & Flow of Magick: Completion timelines depend on design complexity and the current commission queue. An estimated timeline will be provided, but each original creation requires the time and care needed to bring the Familiar to life.

If I Am Unable to Complete Your Commission: Each Familiar’s journey is one I treasure. If I am ever unable to complete your commission, you will receive a full refund for any uncompleted work. If an unexpected delay arises, I’ll keep you updated along the way.

If You Cancel Your Commission: Once your Familiar’s place has been reserved, that space is held exclusively for your companion and is no longer available to another Keeper. Because of this, payments are non-refundable if you choose to cancel your commission or change your mind after your place has been secured.

The Creative Process: Please share all ideas, requests, and inspiration before artwork begins. Once artwork has begun, revisions are not offered. Progress updates and sneak peeks may be shared throughout.

Sharing Your Familiar's Oracle: I love sharing the stories behind the Familiars that join The Whisker Witch’s Archive. As the artist and copyright holder, I may share works in progress, finished artwork, and the story behind each Familiar through my website, portfolio, social media, advertisements, and other promotional materials.

You are always welcome to share your Familiar’s journey, reveal their artwork, and celebrate their place within the Archive. If you choose to share your companion’s story, personality, or special memories, these details help others connect with the magic behind each Familiar.

Any personal sharing preferences, such as location or social media information, will only be included according to the permissions selected in your Archive Sharing Preferences.

The Whisker Witch retains copyright and creative rights to each Familiar artwork and its created identity. These rights allow The Whisker Witch to create future related works, adaptations, stories, collectibles, and products inspired by the Familiar within The Whisker Witch’s Archive.

Delivery: Finished artwork will be shipped or delivered digitally according to the agreed arrangement. Physical shipments include tracking and insurance when applicable; carrier delays are outside The Whisker Witch's control.

Our Shared Journey: Please provide clear reference photos you have permission to use, communicate kindly, and trust the creative process. The Whisker Witch reserves the right to decline any commission that falls outside the studio's style, values, or creative vision.

Community Familiar Oracle Commissions begin at $128.

Additional pets are priced separately based on their size, placement, level of detail, and how they contribute to the overall Familiar composition.

Shipping fees are calculated separately and are based on your location, chosen shipping method, and package requirements.

Please note: Pricing is subject to change as The Whisker Witch’s Familiar Archive grows, materials and shipping costs change, and new offerings become available.

Your final commission price will always be confirmed before your order is accepted.

🐾 Can my companion return for another Community Familiar commission?

Absolutely. Whether you'd like another companion to join the Archive, a shared Familiar artwork featuring multiple companions, or a new original commission celebrating a different chapter of your companion's story, I'd be delighted to welcome them back into The Whisker Witch's studio. Each new commission is created as a unique original artwork and quoted individually.
